With Warranty Comes Peace Of Mind

A new home is the biggest single investment most of us will make in our lifetime. It is very important that we do everything we can to make sure it is a good investment!

We are asked about the warranty on a new home quite often. Our answer is always the same: “Your best warranty is researching and choosing the right Builder for your new home”. The right Builder will have very few problems in the first place and will deal with them quickly and efficiently if a problem does occur. I believe that a problem or an issue is the perfect opportunity to prove to your clients that they have made the right decision!

That having been said, any Home Buyer should expect to receive a written 3rd party warranty with their new home purchase. Atlantic Home Warranty offers a great 7 year warranty with an option for 10 years.  They require member Builders to meet a high standard of professionalism and quality and they will provide clearly documented guidelines for what is acceptable and expected. In the unlikely event that your Builder does not honor his commitments they will step in and make sure your concerns are addressed. Just knowing your Builder is a member of a warranty program offers piece of mind.
