Generally, custom home builders, their tradesmen, plan designers etc. are men. This can sometimes lead to a completed home with an almost “manly essence”.
Because men and women often view the home design and building process differently, you will find some Builders have changed their building process to deliver the most value to both women and men! Typically, women are most concerned with storage areas, entertaining guests, de-stressing areas and flexible living for the growing and/or aging family.
A good Builder will understand the different points of view and will incorporate design features for both him and her.

A third generation family member of Sawlor Built Homes, Kaila joined the company in 2011.
