Industry Awards

The very best way to select a Builder is by listening to what past and current clients have to say, in the form of referrals. However, there are other cues you can use in making a builder choice.

Keeping with the theme of focusing on what actual custom home owners are saying, you might consider Builders that have won “Customer Choice” based Industry Awards. The Atlantic Home Warranty program has a Customer Choice award which is based entirely on a survey of 26 questions that ask about the homeowners experience with their builder and the homeowner’s judgment of the builder in regard to service, courtesy, knowledge, accuracy and responsiveness by sales, office, construction and service staff. Overall judgment is measured by asking if the homeowner would build another home or recommend the builder to family and friends.

While any industry award gives a Builder credibility, none of them can compare or give you better reassurance than a Customer Choice Award, determined only by the builder’s past clients.
