How Do You Know if a Builder is Committed to Their Clients?

One of the best ways to select a builder is by listening to what past and current clients have to say in the form of referrals.

Client Testimonials offer great assurance that your builder is reputable and is committed to completing the job. Your potential builder should have client testimonials available to you as well as offering to set up a meeting with past clients to discuss their building experience.

Another great indicator of a good builder is “Customer Choice” based industry awards. The Atlantic Home Warranty program has a Customer Choice award which is based entirely on a survey of 26 questions that ask about the homeowners experience with their builder and the homeowner’s judgment of the builder in regard to service, courtesy, knowledge, accuracy and responsiveness by sales, office, construction and service staff. Overall judgment is (we think) well measured as well by asking if the homeowner would build another home or recommend the builder to family and friends.

Ask your potential builders about Customer Choice Awards and their past client testimonials. When you find a Builder with many positive testimonials that enthusiastically recommend them, you’ve found the correct Builder for you!

We were pleased with you, your employees, and sub-contractors. Everyone was helpful, courteous, readily answered our questions, advised us appropriately and didn’t mind the daily (or more) site...
